RARE DOUBLE TRANSFER ERROR T-51 PF-13 1862 $20 CONFEDERATE PAPER MONEY PMG VF20. PF-13 is a well known double transfer error variety which is characterized by a doubled engraver's name at upper left as well as a doubled upper left plate letter. This mistake is only known to occur on T51s bearing the A plate letter. When Pierre Fricke published his 2014 edition of Collecting Confederate Paper Money, he stated that just 11-20 representatives of this variation were known. This example is a newer addition to the population census and is at the top end of higher condition examples! Graded VF20 by PMG, this note is bright and clean with great color!
